Hi I'm DJ also known as RunBTR, This blog is dedicated to my running/fitness journey. I started running in 2015 doing Couch to 5k. Running various distances from a marathon to countless 5k's.
I started this journey at 340 lbs. while my weight loss has been an up and down journey I'm still carving away at it. My current running goal is to train for the 2021 Mardi Gras Mambo and Crescent City Classic.
I have come back and forth with bouts of motivation and being just not doing anything. Currently I am basically back to square one working my way back through Couch to 5k.
My plan for the New Year is to just lose as much weight as I can and get active! There is no reason for me to be at the weight I am currently at so I have to make a change!
